Mirror Mimic

Mirror Mimic, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

We spotted this Asianic breed of goose, oh wait, that's Dan! Old Dan-o had his first ever run in with geese and ducks tonight and seemed to blend in well with them. He's the one in the top of the photo.

Me and Dan-o spotted some geese at the Duck Pond and tried to blend in. I'm the one on the left.

Jarrad (left) and brother Jason exhibit the fruits of an early Sunday morning hunt. Nothing like bagging a couple of Toms before corporate worship.

Cool Dan

Cool Dan, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

This is Chuan-Yao, Singapore's hottest male sunglasses model. He's in the states studying at OU while his modeling career is on hold back in Singapore. Such poise and natural form, no wonder he's all the rave.

Not as they seem

Dan mocking Dave, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

Here Dan makes a show of Dave's injury. Thinking it was a soft, spongy ball, Dave gave the white ball in the picture a nice kick, only to discover it was really an athletic tape ball and extremely hard. OUCH. Dan enjoyed it though.

She so fine

Sydneyann shows some 'tude while Dave pretends like he's uninterested in his wife to be.

Tennis Foreigners

Marek and Razvan, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

Here we have Marek of the Czech Rep. and Razvan of Romania. These two fine gentlemen live in the room next door and make a collegiate career of playing the game with green balls and a racket.

Negus Family with soon to be family members

DSC_0179, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

Top left: David Negus, Sam Negus, John Stuart, bottom left: Susanna Negus, Joy Negus, Julia Negus and Laura Stuart (soon to be Negus).

We all sat together in what was the first of many Negus/Stuart family pics in the Negus home in Nottingham, UK.

The First One

The First One, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

Here Sam and I enjoy a good ale together in what was my first ever real alcoholic beverage. I drank a pint of locally brewed goodness in Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem, the oldest pub in England (established in 1189). Beat that!!

Fossil Fuel Gouging

Here is the pump after Julia filled up her little Toyota Corolla in Nottingham. The next time you fill up don't whine about two dollars per gallon. You'd be paying about seven or more per gallon over there.

Me, Julie, Sam and Laura pose on this scenic Derbyshire bridge while Mommy Negus snaps the picture.

Cathedric Majesticism

Cathedric Majesticism, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

This is the spectacular St. Paul's Cathedral in London. You aren't supposed to take pictures, but hey, how often are you in England, right? This is the church where Princess Diana got married.
It's 100 feet from the floor to where the oval dome starts in the top of the picture. Amazing. New World architecture eat your heart out.

Chop Block

Off with his head, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

Here is the great equalizer. This legendary duo claimed thousands of lives in its day, though often it would take several swings to completely seperate head from body-or so they say.

Enigmatic Appearance

Random Appearance, originally uploaded by johnniestu.

We couldn't figure out why our very own Red, White and Blue would be flying inside a UK cathedral. Any guesses?

A moving experience seeing this cathedral in Bristol.

UK delights

A spread of wondrous Brit-based sweets. If only I had more time (and money) to try everything...

Indian wonder

Left to right: Julia Negus, Laura, Sam, Mike, Steve, Lucy and Will enjoy some amazing Indian food in Bristol. (I enjoyed it too, I'm just not in the picture for obvious reasons)
This was the best meal I had while in England apart from eating pork pie. I had a spicy, ricy, curry dish with a pint of customary Indian lager. Truly an amazing experience.
Don't ask how much it cost.

Here they are

LOOK! Real English school girls. They didn't really like me taking their picture. One said "I'd appreciate it if you'd not take my picture please," in a bratty and obviously British tone.

Pipes

Soon you will enjoy lots of pictures. Oh boy.
