On Wednesday my folks got around to opening the bottle of wine I brought home from Germany (courtesy of the Belschners) in August. I was obliged to have some of the 350mL cache as payment for my importing fees (I did carry the bottle about 6,000 miles getting it back to Oklahoma).
There was no particular reason for opening it, which is always sound justification for popping a cork.
